The TOP 10 First Date Ideas

No.10 Bowling
Bowling is an old-school date idea with a great casual vibe. The two of you can have a beer or a slice of pizza while engaging in a friendly competition. Just about every town has a bowling alley. It’s a low-stress environment, so your date is guaranteed to feel relaxed and comfortable, which is important. If she’s comfortable, she’ll have more fun, and if she’s having fun, you’ll get a second date.

No.9 Hiking
Exploring the great outdoors and getting some physical activity is a terrific first date idea, provided your date is up to the task. You need to check first to ensure that she’s the outdoorsy type. A high-maintenance woman does not want to go on a hike (you know, that martini-sipping girl with the perfectly manicured nails probably isn’t up for it). But for the cute surfer girl you met at the pub, it’s perfect.

No.8 Aquarium
Aquariums aren't just for fourth-grade field trips; they're also a great place for a first date. You can walk leisurely with your lady friend as the two of you survey all of the sea life. And underwater creatures are colorful, slimy, toothy, and weird enough to keep things interesting.

No.7 The Theater
The theater is another one of our favorite first date ideas. It’s more original than a movie, plus it’s a little classier. The two of you can get dressed up and enjoy yourselves. Plus, there’s typically an intermission during which you’ll have a chance to chat, unlike a movie, where you’ll spend the entire time sitting in the dark. The theater is a good date for just about any type of woman, but it’s particularly well-suited to bibliophiles and art lovers.

No.6 Driving Range
Taking a date to the driving range is another fun outdoors activity. It’s not particularly strenuous, though, so your date doesn’t need to be athletic to have a good time. The driving range makes a great daytime date. It’s also a good first date idea because if she’s not a golfer, helping her with her swing is a great opportunity to get up close and personal. Alternatively, if she’s a little more experienced, it’s a chance for some playful competition.

No.5 Art Gallery
A trip to the local art gallery is a great first date for the artsy girl. It’s not a bad idea to do a little research on the exhibit beforehand, though. Not just because it’s good to seem at least a little knowledgeable, but also because you don’t want to accidentally take her to an exhibit on the horrors of meat-processing plants or the atrocities of war.

No.4 Local Music Show
Remember that conversation is probably the most important part of a first date. However, the right music in the right venue can provide the perfect ratio of conversation to pleasant distraction. You don’t want a stadium show. You don’t want heavy metal or techno -- the emphasis there is more on dancing than listening. But if you can find a more mellow act in a smaller venue, you’re golden.

No.3 Play Tourist
We sometimes take our hometowns for granted. Think about it: Every year, scores of people probably travel to your city on vacation. Try to see your hometown from a tourist’s perspective. Check out the local tourism office; it will have guides and information on all kinds of festivals, events and sights worth seeing. Take your date on a touristy excursion around your hometown and see the city from a different perspective.

No.2 Ice-Skating
Ice-skating is innocent fun. That’s why it makes this list of our favorite first date ideas. It’s a great date for women who loves to be active. And if she doesn't know how to skate, so what? Holding hands as you help her stay on her feet is a fun way to spend an afternoon and an excellent opportunity to get to know each other.

No.1 Try New Cuisine
Sharing new experiences together is a great way to build a connection with someone. That’s why if you’re going to take her out to a restaurant, you should try taking her somewhere a little more adventurous. Check out a new ethnic cuisine -- something neither of you have tried before. The element of adventure will add some excitement to your date, and, who knows, maybe the two of you will find a new favorite.

How To Have a Great Date: Don’t Be Mr. Planner

Hey Guys, Shogo here with another weekend blog for you guys!
I know that our usual weekend topic is nightlife and bars, but let’s switch it up a little for today. Today let’s talk a little bit about when you’ve got a date.
When you’re out and you’re dating, you know from the blog that if you’re the man on the date you always want to have a plan on the first date or so. When you ask a woman out, you want to be the leader, you want to have a place to go, but also be open to suggestions from your date. You want to have an idea of where you want to go and what you want to do that night based on the situation, the interaction, or the conversation you had with your date.
“What do you want to do tonight?” are words that should never come out of your mouth when inviting a woman out on a first date. Be thoughtful, be inspired, and show that you actually put some consideration and effort into the evening.
You don’t need to plan out every little detail of what you’re going to do—granted, some men and women do like their evening to run that way, and that’s fine if it suits your personality.
First Date Ideas
But there is a fine line between planning out a fun time on your date and rigidly sticking to your plans without room for creativity if things go wrong. You always want to be flexible in your planning. If things don’t go exactly according to plan, roll with it.
If your date is a vegetarian and you accidentally took her to a steak house, you can always leave and go somewhere else. Find a cool, hip vegetarian place maybe neither of you have ever been to before. You just might have a great new discovery in the area that you had no idea existed. And if the food wasn’t that good, oh well, at least the two of you had the experience and went on a little adventure together.
If you planned out a nice afternoon picnic or walk in the park and suddenly it starts raining, what do you do? Maybe change the plan and take her to a matinee. Sneak your picnic food in her purse have your own little picnic in the back of the theater.
It’s all about being open-minded. It’s all about being open to the fun possibilities out there. Because in reality, nothing goes exactly according to plan. You can never plan anything out 100% and know what the future holds in store, so be open to whatever comes your way, embrace it and make the most of it. The more your rigidly stick to what you planned out and try your hardest to make things to go exactly as planned, the more you are closing yourself off to great opportunities that come your way, opportunities that you couldn’t predict, even opportunities that you never thought could be possible.
So on all of your upcoming dates, I want you guys to have an action plan and a direction going into the date. But I also want to you be open and receptive to change. Be open and receptive to new possibilities on your dates, or in your encounters, or even when you are first meeting and talking to someone of the opposite sex, and see what great moments and great memories that you could never have predicted lie ahead for you.

Learn how to forgive someone who has cheated on you and look to the future - Part 2

It's important not to fight about who is right and wrong. Between the two of you it's important to listen to what you both say and pay attention to their views.

Get Them to Promise to Never Do It Again - It's easy for anybody to promise that they can change. The problem is how many of those who say they will change, really do just that? It's no use just talking about things changing, but you will also need to show that things are getting better as well to make things better between the two of you.

It's important that your partner knows that they have affected you with their cheating and not to do it again to you. Ensure that the promise made is real and not just words that will not be carried through. Ensure that she realizes how serious this situation is and is not just trying to have some time alone to do what she wants.

Letting Go - It's important that you move on from what happened. It's difficult to forgive them if you are always reminding them of what they did.

You should make every effort not use their betrayal as a bargaining tool for the things you desire. Forget about the feelings of betrayal you have and forgive your partner to make things better between you.

Choosing An Online Dating Site - Advice From An Expert

Many single people choose to use a dating site that will help them to meet someone. One issue that people find is choosing the site that will be right for them. The thing that you should remember is that they are not created equally. You should take a look for some particular qualities to make sure that you are choosing the site that will bring you the most success. There is not just one great site, in fact there are many good sites.

The reputation of the site will say a lot. If they are well known and trusted, then they are probably a god choice. However, if you find a site that is less known you may not have as much luck with it. Talk with your friends and see if any of them have ever used a dating site. If so, then you can see which one they used and give it a try. Word of mouth is the best way to find a great site.

Look for free trials on sites. When you find a free trial period, you can make a profile and see how you like the site before you commit to using it. You can test it out and see how you like the way the site is set up. Finding a dating site that is easy to use will prove to be very beneficial. Before you shell out money for a membership on a dating site, it is important to make sure you like it.

A key factor to consider is that free is not always the best way to go. While there may be some great free sites out there, these sites may not give you the results that you are looking for. You will find that most of the time you get what you pay for, and this is no different when it comes to online dating sites. This does not mean you have to choose the most expensive site.

As you are looking for a dating site that will help you find love, remember these key factors. This is the best way to make sure that the site you choose is going to work for you. Always remember that it is not always in the first month, or even the first year, that you find someone worth your time. You have to stick with it, and meet a few people before you will find one that is a keeper.
